Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was an extremely popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the wealthiest and most successful. He starred in the legendary film Shottas with another famous singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani enlisted Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996 like Father Like Son and several singles including Judge Not With Patra then Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Does It (remix) as well as Sensimelia each of which contributed to his growing reputation in the new generation of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell from Fugees in the song Avenue in 1997. It was a hugely successful cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was first seen at the Cameo Theatre in Miami at Midem. In Midem's Cameo Theatre Marley performed a set which was aired live by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 countries.
